Each post features a conical (tapered) body that follows the natural anatomical taper of the root canal, preserving more apical dentine than parallel-walled cylindrical post systems while still delivering reliable mechanical retention through the low-profile threaded shank. The coronal cross-head (cruciform) recess accepts a standard cross-key driver, allowing controlled torque-limited insertion. The assortment covers both short and long-length variants across the full size range, ensuring the appropriate post is on hand for any post-space depth. Matching-diameter Nordin conical reamers are required for canal preparation and the cross-key driver is sold separately.
