Each post features a conical (tapered) body that follows the natural anatomical taper of the root canal, preserving more apical dentine than parallel-walled cylindrical post systems while still delivering excellent mechanical retention through the threaded shank. The coronal cross-head (cruciform) recess accepts a standard cross-key driver, allowing controlled, torque-limited insertion. The posts are manufactured from a lead-free biocompatible alloy and finished with a uniform gold-tone plating that resists corrosion and degradation in the oral environment. Lead-free composition meets current regulatory requirements for biocompatible restorative materials. The assortment covers both short and long-length variants across the full size range, ensuring the clinician has the appropriate post on hand whether the case calls for posterior short-engagement retention or anterior long-engagement retention. A matched-diameter conical reamer (Nordin or compatible) is required for canal preparation, and the cross-key driver is sold separately if not already in inventory.
