Polycarbonate Temporary Crowns are tooth-colored, pre-formed anterior temporary crowns engineered to provide esthetic interim coverage of prepared anterior teeth between the preparation appointment and definitive crown delivery. Unlike metal pre-formed temporaries, which are clinically excellent for posterior teeth but esthetically unsuitable for the smile zone — polycarbonate crowns deliver a natural tooth color and translucency that allows the patient to smile and speak confidently during the 2–6 week interim period typical of indirect ceramic crown fabrication. Each crown is manufactured from medical-grade polycarbonate, a high-strength engineering thermoplastic that combines impact resistance, dimensional stability, and a tooth-shade appearance that does not discolor significantly during the temporary period. The crowns are anatomically shaped to reproduce natural incisor or canine contours with appropriate mesial, distal, incisal, and gingival contour. Chairside placement is rapid: the crown is selected for size, tried on the prepared tooth, relined with bis-acryl temporary material if needed for marginal adaptation, trimmed, polished, and cemented with non-eugenol temporary cement. The polycarbonate material can also be quickly modified with composite or flowable resin for line angle adjustment and shade refinement. Each box contains 5 crowns of a single tooth position and size.
