Mani K-Files 21mm are short-length endodontic hand files designed for posterior teeth, second molars, and any clinical situation where limited mouth opening or patient anatomy prevents the use of standard 25mm files. K-Files are the foundational tool in hand-instrument endodontics, used for canal scouting, glide-path establishment, negotiation, and apical preparation. Their square cross-section and tighter flute spiral produce a combined filing-and-reaming action that allows controlled, tactile progress through narrow and curved canals. Each file is manufactured by Mani Inc. from the company's proprietary 18-8 hard-fiber stainless steel, which retains exceptional flexibility and sharpness through repeated autoclaving. The 21mm working length improves access in the back of the mouth, where elbow-to-tooth distance and adjacent dentition can make longer files unwieldy. ISO color-coded silicone handles allow rapid size verification, and the PBT shank is dimensionally stable across sterilization cycles. Mani K-Files can be used with both gentle reciprocation (back-and-forth rotation through 30–60°) and balanced-force techniques, giving clinicians versatility across cases. Available in all standard ISO sizes from #06 through #140 and assorted packs. Each pack contains 6 sterile, single-size files.
