Mani H-Files 21mm are short-shank Hedstrom-style endodontic files engineered for aggressive lateral dentin removal during root canal preparation. Unlike K-Files, the H-File features deep, angled spiral flutes that machine the canal wall on the withdrawal stroke only, making them especially effective for finalizing canal shape after K-File negotiation, removing gutta percha during retreatment, and refining the coronal third of the canal. The 21mm working length is purpose-built for posterior teeth, restricted-opening cases, and patients with limited mouth opening where standard 25mm files cannot be fully seated. Manufactured by Mani Inc. in Japan, each file is ground from Mani's signature 18-8 stainless steel, producing the mirror-finished, micro-sharp cutting edges that clinicians worldwide have trusted for over five decades. ISO color-coded handles allow instant identification under the operating microscope, and the polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) shank is autoclave-stable. H-Files are designed strictly for filing motion (vertical pull strokes) — they must not be rotated in the canal, as the aggressive flute geometry can cause file fracture if subjected to torque.
