The kit includes a balanced assortment of Glassix posts across the standard Glassix sizing system, paired with matched-diameter Glassix reamers, eliminating the need to source canal preparation instruments separately and providing everything required to begin placing fiber posts immediately. Glassix posts are manufactured from translucent, unidirectional glass fiber reinforced epoxy with a modulus of elasticity closely matched to natural dentine. This biomechanical compatibility allows the post-restored tooth to flex as a single unit under occlusal load — a stress-distribution behavior that has been demonstrated to substantially reduce the risk of vertical root fracture compared with rigid metal posts. The translucent post body permits light transmission for full-depth dual-cure or light-cure resin cement polymerization, eliminating the apical dark zones associated with opaque post systems and ensuring complete adhesive bonding along the entire post length. The pre-treated post surface bonds reliably with all major dental adhesive primers and dual-cure resin cements. Particularly indicated for all-ceramic crowns, direct composite anterior build-ups, and any restoration where the gray shadow of metal posts would compromise the esthetic outcome.
